Vidya Balan: Vidya Balan played the devoted scientist who is the brainchild behind simplifying the missions main obstacle. Her look was nerdy, lovable and the quintessential working woman with casual linen sarees and simple minimal jewelry. She shone in her character like so many Indian women shine in their daily lives improving, refining and making our lives worth living amidst the obstacles, the challenges and the heartache of the daily grind.
Sonakshi Sinha: Sonakshi Sinha essayed the role of a young and accomplished woman with ambition and drive. Her smart fusion collared Kurtas for the character were age appropriate and the winning look was her off shoulder blouse with the monochrome saree.
Tapsee Pannu: Taapsee's role as a dedicated wife and worker evoked the strong and loving Indian woman of today who knows how to balance tough personal situations with a demanding work life. She won our hearts in simple printed chiffon and cotton sarees and her best look was the yellow kanjivaram saree for the D day.
Kirti Kulhari: Kirti Kulhari is one of the most versatile actors Bollywood has found in recent years and while her simple pastel chiffon sarees and embroidered Kurtas in Mission Mangal were as practical as they were flattering, her peach Kanjivaram was the embodiment of the soft spoken but strong willed programmer who rose to a challenge for a good cause.
Nithya Menon: Nithya Menon's Bollywood debut was impressive and while she preserved her lovely curly locks for the film her deep jewel colored silk sarees in the film were flattering and she carried them well too. Kohl lined eyes, a simple bindi and gold bangles - she carried the look of a young married working woman convincingly.
